ABSTRACT
This article considers a case from practice, when a 26-year-old patient, who was injured as a result of a hand getting into a rotating mechanism, managed to perform the replantation of the upper limb. Despite the purulent-necrotic complications that developed in the postoperative period, as a result of long-term sanitation followed by skin grafting, it was possible to achieve complete engraftment of the segment. However, the development of post-traumatic osteomyelitis required a second operation on the humerus, followed by its successful consolidation. Over time, a positive trend in the improvement of the sensory and motor functions of the hand was noted. The results of the treatment were recognized as good, so it was possible not only to save the limb, but also to improve its performance after rehabilitation.
