PORTAL VEIN THROMBOSIS IN NEONATES AFTER EXCHANGE TRANSFUSION: A CASE SERIES

ABSTRACT

Portal vein thrombosis, characterized by the narrowing or blockage of the portal vein by a blood clot, primarily associated with sepsis, omphalitis, exchange transfusion and presence of umbilical venous catheter.
