ABSTRACT
This review study examines the significance of Gurvadi Guna (qualities of heaviness and lightness) within the framework of Kriya Sharir (physiology in Ayurveda). By analyzing the impact of these qualities on bodily functions, health, and disease management, the study highlights their relevance in contemporary Ayurvedic practice. The paper aims to bridge ancient Ayurvedic principles with modern health practices, advocating for the integration of Gurvadi Guna in therapeutic approaches.
