ABSTRACT
This paper presents an ultrasonic sensor designed for accurate distance measurement and object detection. The sensor uses high-frequency sound waves to detect objects and measure distances. The system consists of an ultrasonic transmitter, receiver, and a microcontroller for processing the signals. The sensor operates by emitting ultrasonic waves and measuring the time-of-flight (TOF) of the reflected waves. The distance is calculated using the TOF and the speed of sound. The sensor has been tested and validated for accuracy and reliability. The results show that the sensor can measure distances up to 4 meters with an accuracy of ± 1 cm. The sensor has potential applications in robotics, automation, and navigation systems.
