ABSTRACT
A Set of practices and guidelines are described to be followed to maintain physical, mental, and emotional health through Ayurvedic tradition practice-known as the concept of Achara Rasayana. This Rasayana is believed to enhance the natural immunity and vitality of the body and its natural longevity by forming balance between the individual and the environment, hence proper functioning of all the body systems, and prevention against diseases. These four are Achara Rasayana, dietary regimen, sleep patterns, exercise, and mental discipline that together shape the mind-body relationship. Achara Rasayana has an immense influence on the human body systems since it can affect doshas Vata, Pitta, and Kapha in order to find equilibrium; support the digestive system; regulate metabolism; improve mental clarity; and boost the immune system. It also detoxifies the body and attunes the behavior of the individual to the natural flows of life, helping to enter the state of homeostasis in the body. Such an abstract will enumerate the possible mechanisms by which Achara Rasayana impacts human physiology in a positive manner, thus contributing to a better status of well-being and longevity.
Keywords: Ayurvedic practice, Balance doshas, lifestyle management, longevity.
