ABSTRACT
Intra-vesical foreign bodies are rare and can result from iatrogenic injury, sexual abuse, self- insertion, or assault. These cases may present early or late and can be asymptomatic or exhibit various non-specific symptoms. Recent studies suggest that gossypibomas can lead to tumor formation, with sarcomas being the most likely type of malignancy. This case report describes a rare and novel occurrence of an intra-vesical foreign body introduced iatrogenically after a caesarean section, which presented as a vesical calculus. Meticulous surgical technique, accurate diagnosis, relief of obstruction, and infection control are crucial components of the diagnostic and therapeutic protocol.
