ABSTRACT
The aim of this research is to develop and evaluate a herbal face pack designed to enhance skin radiance using natural plant-based ingredients. Clear, glowing skin is a common desire, but issues like acne, pimples, and blackheads are frequent concerns for many people. According to Ayurvedic principles, these skin problems are often linked to toxins or impurities in the blood. Herbal face packs are believed to improve blood circulation, rejuvenate the skin, maintain its elasticity, and help cleanse clogged pores. A key benefit of herbal cosmetics is their non-toxic nature, which helps minimize allergic reactions and ensures the enduring effectiveness of various plant-based ingredients. In this study, an effort was made to create a face pack that is suitable for all skin types. The face packs were prepared and evaluated based on several factors, including their colour, appearance, pH, consistency, ease of washing off, and antimicrobial properties. Herbal masks are often used to promote circulation, revive the skin’s muscles, and support skin firmness, while also aiding in the removal of impurities from the pores. The findings from this study suggest that the developed face pack exhibited promising qualities. In contrast to many synthetic commercial products, which may cause adverse effects with prolonged use, herbal cosmetics provide a safer alternative. They are considered appropriate for daily use with minimal risk of side effects.
