ABSTRACT
Alzheimer’s disease recognized as a complex and progressive neurodegenerative disorder. It is a primary case of
the dementia in older adults. It is marked by the assistance of neurofibrillary tangles. Previously twenty years,
progress in understanding the disease’s pathogenesis has encouraged researches to explore new pharmacological
treatments. Treatment for AD mainly strive to ease symptom and slow the advancemen t of the condition. . In
addition to medication, non drug approaches like cognitive therapy, structured routine. Changes in environment can
also enhance quality of life for individual for Alzheimer’s .Recent progress in molecular biology, neuroimaging
,and biomarkers has enhanced our understanding of disease mechanisms and created new opportunities for
diagnosis and treatment development. Although various treatment exist to help alleviate the symptom and also slow
its progression and also enhance the qualit y of life. Additionally non medical strategies such as cognitive and
physical therapy, such as modification, support for caregivers and play important role.
