Abstract

SYNTHESIS AND BIOLOGICAL STUDY OF SOME NOVEL SCHIFF BASE DERIVATIVES OF PHENOTHIAZINE AND BENZOTHIAZEPINE

ABSTRACT

The synthesized compounds with different synthesis method for their % Yield, purity, time and biological activity along with toxicity studies can be explored as a drug candidate in treatment of various diseases. This study was aimed at the synthesis of fused Phenothiazine and Benzodiazepine derivatives containing heterocyclic moiety. The synthesized compounds were tested for their preliminary tests, physical constants, TLC, IR, 1H-NMR Spectra and CHN analysis confirmed the structures of the final compounds.
