PREVALENCE OF SUPERNUMERARY TEETH IN A NON-SYNDROME NORTH INDIAN POPULATION: AN ORIGINAL REASERCH

ABSTRACT
Aim: Prevalence of supernumerary teeth in a non-syndrome north Indian population. Material and Methods: A retrospective study was performed using panoramic radiographs of 2361 patients (578 females and 1783 males) ranging in age from 13 to 26. Results: Supernumerary teeth were detected in 63 study subjects (2.67% of which 49 were males and 14 were females. Conclusion: The prevalence of supernumerary teeth was found to be 2.67%.
