BRIEF REVIEW STUDY ABOUT ABUTILON INDICUM PLANT

ABSTRACT

During past several years, there has been growing interest among the usage of various medicinal plants from traditional system of medicine for the treatment of different ailments. A number of herbs belonging to the specie Abutilon are noted for their medicinal benefits in traditional system of medicine. A lot of medicinally important attributes have been assigned to the plants of this species. In the long run, today there is renewed interest in traditional medicine. As per the name Abutilon indicum is considered as one of the powerful medicine of Ayurveda. The current review explores the different pharmacological properties of A. indicum, confirming its usefulness for the future medication.
