TREATMENT AND PREVENTION OF DIABETES BY DIET AND WORKOUT

ABSTRACT
Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disease with the main symptom of high sugar level in the blood for a longer period, this is World’s most spread disease affecting the high population and is of two main types I and II. The complications of this disease include possible blindness, amputation of the lower limb, renal failure, and cardiac arrest or stroke. Until now injectable and tablets are more frequently used in the treatment of diabetes in order to get the desired effect, but in this review article, we focused on diets and workout plan for the treatment of Diabetes Mellitus. The epidemic nature of diabetes explains that the Middle East and North Africa region has the highest prevalence of adults suffering from diabetes with all the three types of DM, the reason behind DM is the alteration or defect in genes that play a role in the various steps and pathways involved in glucose metabolism. As previously, a very huge data has been collected, the mechanism of DM development and complications are not fully acknowledged, more advanced research is required in this field which will reflect on the ultimate objective to improve diagnosis, therapy and minimize the development of the chronic complications. In this review article, we summarized and guided the DM patient to acknowledge this disorder and then accordingly workout by providing some time to body to be healthier.
