A REVIEW ON MEDICINAL PROPERTIES AND PHARMACOLOGICAL USES OF CORIANDER SATIVUM L

ABSTRACT
The biological name of Coriander is Coriandrum sativum, and it belongs to the Apiaceae family. Coriander is most commonly used as a medicinal plant, belonging nutritional as well as medicinal things. Coriander seed and herb essential oils have been activated investigated for their chemical composition and biological activities including antimicrobial, hypoglycemic, antioxidant, hypolipidemic, anxiolytic, anti-convulsant, analgesic, anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer activities, among others. The medicinal uses of coriander including menstrual problems, lower cholesterol, good for diabetes, hair loss, ease constipation, healthy kidney and treat digestion problems.
