ABSTRACT
Although rare, tuberculosis of bone is an important cause of lytic bone lesions. The diagnosis may be easily missed or miss-interpreted as bone tumour, leading to inadequate and disadvantageous treatments. Further imaging and histopathogical confirmation is absolutely mandatory in such cases.
